Grimsthorpe Estate Shooting Ground is pleased to be hosting the Wilde & Glorious Grimsthorpe Ladies Cup. Whether you are an experienced shot or completely new to the sport, join us for an exhilarating morning of shooting with the chance to win some fabulous prizes.
Including: Schoffel clothing, Dubarry boots, Le Chameau wellies, Holland & Holland shooting kit, SWATCOM ear defenders, bespoke glasses from Edwards Eyewear, Gamebore cartridges, beautiful accessories from Hicks & Brown and Waringbrooke and much more.
Once shooting has concluded, enjoy cocktails and mocktails, kindly provided by our friends at Ikoyi Chapmans and our Wilde & Glorious sweetie buffet, whilst indulging in some retail therapy in Home Wood & Hale and our shopping village. The fabulous Olivia Buchanan Food will be with us serving delicious game canapés and chatting all things field to fork.
We will be raising money for the incredible breast cancer charity; Coppafeel.
£5 from every entry, as well as all proceeds raised from the Le Chameau welly wanging competitions go directly to the charity. The lucky, winning wanger will also take home a pair of brand new Le Chameau wellies of their choice!

Katie Absalom
Many of you will know Katie from her time at Purdey and the Royal Berkshire where she headed up events, marketing and brand for nearly ten years. Katie has now founded an exciting new boutique events, marketing and PR agency, Wilde & Glorious.
The Wilde & Glorious team create soulful, immersive experiences for individuals and businesses, as well as helping brands to tell their story and stand out in their niche. They would love to hear from you.
The Shooting
We are offering three categories of shooting to suit all levels of experience. Every category has some amazing prizes up for grabs for first, second and third place.
Novice
Novices are ladies who are very new to shooting or have never shot before. You’ll enjoy a fun introduction to the sport of clay shooting.
Expert tuition will be given by our professional instructors and all equipment will be provided including a shotgun, ammunition, clays and all necessary safety wear.

Intermediate
Intermediate shots are those that can shoot competently and safely and do not need to be accompanied by an instructor.
You will shoot an 80 ‘bird’ sporting competition over a course that is designed to be fun but challenging too. You will need to provide your own cartridges and you are welcome to purchase them from us on the day (please note we are a fibre wad only ground).

SERIOUS SHOTS
This one is for ladies with a CPSA Classification of C or above. You will shoot an 80 ‘bird’ sporting competition over a course that is designed to be fun but challenging too.
You will need to provide your own cartridges and you are welcome to purchase them from us on the day.

You are more than welcome to book with friends (we pop you into squads of 5). Please note novices shoot a separate course but Intermediate and Serious shots shoot the same course together with different prize categories.

Ladies arrive at Grimsthorpe Estate Shooting Ground for a breakfast of bacon rolls, tea and coffee, served in the clubhouse.
9.45am
Welcome from Katie of Wilde & Glorious and briefing from our head instructor.
10.00am
Shooting commences
11.30am
Refreshments and sweet treats are served out on the grounds
1.30pm
Shooting concludes. Guests are treated to a glass of fizz, canapes from Olivia Buchanan Food,a sweet buffet and the opportunity to indulge in some retail therapy
2.00pm
Prize giving before departing at leisure
